     World Models 33% Ultimate 10-300

As most people who have flown Ultimates will tell you, this thing is an absolute BLAST to fly.  It is different, and takes some getting used to, but after that it constantly reminds you to fly it hard, and begs you to throw the sticks around!

I am using Spektrum and Hitec radio equipment on the Ultimate.  Digital 5645 servos throughout, regulated by Smart-Fly.  I am using a Power Expander, as well as the Smart-Fly BatShare.  This is a cool little piece that switches to always draw from the pack with the highest voltage.  It will also isolate a bad pack/switch from the system in case of a failure.  The Power Expander carries the current directly from the batteries to the servos, thus skipping the sometimes inadequate receiver power bus.  Lithium batteries are used throughout.

The engine is a Desert Aircraft DA-100.  It is swinging a Mejzlik 3-blade 25 x 12 carbon prop.  It all comes together with the XXX carbon fiber spinner.  I only have about 3 gallons through it right now, so it still gurgles a bit in transition.

I will be taking photos of the Composite-Arf Extra 330 soon.  It is in the Shulman 2000 scheme.  Also powered by a Desert Aircraft DA-100, it has all Hitec Digital/Coreless 5945 servos (Fast!).  Check back soon.

Below is my Great Planes U-Can-Do-3D.  It is powered by a Super Tigre 90, and gives "unlimited vertical" a whole new meaning.  It has standard servos except for the rudder which is a Hitec 605BB.  A wonderful plane to lead you into giant scale, as it teaches you throttle control and using more rudder in turns.
